This year I also entered the British Hair and Beauty Awards 2022. This is the first year I’ve entered any awards of this kind. I was shortlisted as a finalist in the following:
Rising star of the year
Self employed individual of the year
Colour technician of the year
Entrepreneur of the year
Hair stylist of the year
Hair salon of the year
Best new business of the year.
The awards ceremony took place on the 25th July and is available to watch on the British hair and Beauty awards YouTube channel.
I’m absolutely excited and over the moon to announce I actually did very well! I’m still in shock but I couldn’t be anymore happier with the outcome.
They did a regional then an over all National winner for each catergory.
so for the East Midlands …….
Entrepreneur of the year and Self employed individual of the year I stayed as a finalist as I wasn’t aware at the time of going through to the 2nd round I was a finalist for these so I didn’t submit the evidence to the judges. But that’s ok because I got the Awards for catergories involving my hairdressing skills which was more important to me.
